{"id":52712,"date":"2025-09-12T23:50:30","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T23:50:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deportecapital.com.ar\/?p=52712"},"modified":"2025-09-12T23:50:30","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T23:50:30","slug":"una-competencia-de-calidad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deportecapital.com.ar\/index.php\/2025\/09\/12\/una-competencia-de-calidad\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cUna competencia de calidad\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El presidente de la<strong> Confederaci\u00f3n Mundial de s\u00f3ftbol<\/strong> y b\u00e9isbol en el continente americano, <em>Tommy Vel\u00e1zquez<\/em> de <strong>Puerto Rico<\/strong> precis\u00f3 que \u201cvamos a tener una competencia de calidad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El titular del cuerpo rector estuvo acompa\u00f1ado por <em>Juan<\/em> <em>Herrera<\/em>, jefe de prensa de la instituci\u00f3n madre.<\/p>\n<p>De visita en <strong>radio La Red<\/strong> en el programa <strong>Deporte Capital en Radio<\/strong>, destac\u00f3 que \u201cestamos muy contentos de lo que est\u00e1 pasando aqu\u00ed en <strong>La<\/strong> <strong>Pampa<\/strong>, que se convierte en epicentro del softbol masculino recibiendo, adem\u00e1s de <strong>Argentina<\/strong>, a otros siete pa\u00edses como <strong>Canad\u00e1, M\u00e9xico, Estados Unidos, Venezuela, Guatemala, Per\u00fa y Rep\u00fablica Dominicana<\/strong>, y ser\u00e1 un verdadero placer contar con esta fiesta deportiva ya que vamos a tener a los mejores en la categor\u00eda U23. Van a presenciar una competencia de calidad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En Am\u00e9rica el cuerpo rector que preside cuenta con 32 afiliadas, de las cuales 24 est\u00e1n participando activamente. \u201cEs mucho lo que se hace anualmente\u201d, remarc\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Admiti\u00f3 que \u201cyo trabajo desde <strong>Puerto Rico<\/strong> (en <strong>Pully<\/strong>, <strong>Suiza<\/strong>, est\u00e1 la casa madre) ya que es mucho lo que se hace anualmente en el continente. Hoy estamos aqu\u00ed, salgo de <strong>La<\/strong> <strong>Pampa<\/strong>, voy a <strong>Oklahoma<\/strong> donde tenemos una copa mundial, regresamos a <strong>Argentina<\/strong> para estar en el sub 19 en <strong>Bah\u00eda Blanca<\/strong> y cerramos el a\u00f1o con los bolivarianos a final de a\u00f1o, en <strong>Lima<\/strong> (<strong>Per\u00fa<\/strong>)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Asever\u00f3 el presidente de la Confederaci\u00f3n que \u201cel softbol sigue ocupando espacios; en los juegos multidisciplinarios el a\u00f1o que viene estaremos en <strong>Rosario<\/strong> con masculino y femenino. El softbol tiene m\u00e1s arraigo en masculino que el femenino, a pesar de que \u00e9ste es ol\u00edmpico. La audiencia es mayor en los varones y lo que no se entiende o confunde\u00a0 o no sabe la gente, es que el softbol femenino sustituye o quieren que sea como un b\u00e9isbol femenino. Y no comprenden que el s\u00f3ftbol es un deporte totalmente diferente, es mucho m\u00e1s din\u00e1mico. Hay ligas de softbol alrededor del mundo con un alto rendimiento con muchos equipos de Am\u00e9rica, adem\u00e1s de <strong>Jap\u00f3n, Australia o Nueva Zelanda<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Viene <em>Marcos D\u00edaz<\/em> que es el pitcher m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido del continente que tira arriba de las 90 millas. \u201cEs un chico espigado, mexicano y vive all\u00ed, pero nacionalizado estadounidense por uno de sus padres y juega para ellos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Es de subrayar que con el salto desde la placa central, suelta la bola afuera del c\u00edrculo achicando la distancia a 12 metros al plato de home.<\/p>\n<p><em>Vel\u00e1zquez<\/em> enfatiz\u00f3 que \u201cla grandeza de este torneo es que se jugar\u00e1 bajo el sistema de todos contra todos. Para ser campe\u00f3n le tienes que ganar a todos\u201d. Se recuerda que solo los cuatro primeros acceder\u00e1n al pasaporte para el <strong>Mundial en Colombia<\/strong>, el a\u00f1o que viene, adem\u00e1s que disputar la medalla de Oro en este campeonato.<\/p>\n<p>Asegura que cuando \u201cse les dice que <strong>Argentina<\/strong> es potencia mundial, te quedan mirando, no es solo <em>Messi<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El titular del cuerpo rector remarc\u00f3 \u201clos esfuerzos de la <strong>Federaci\u00f3n Pampeana<\/strong> y de los gobiernos provinciales y municipales por el esfuerzo y el apoyo. Vamos a tener una fiesta deportiva grande e invitamos a todos a que se den cita a presenciar los juegos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n, desliz\u00f3 que \u201chay un canal deportivo que quiere comprar
